Adelina Custodia

Adelina "Deling" Romero Custodia, born October 1, 1942, in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11AM at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The family will receive friends and family starting at 9AM.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Deling is remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She is survived by her beloved brother, Reynaldo; her children, Rony, Janet, Gemma, Bing-bing, and Alan; twelve cherished grandchildren; and six treasured great-grandchildren.

In her youth, Deling found joy in watching movies filmed in her hometown with friends and was known for her remarkable talent as a dressmaker and seamstress. Upon immigrating to the United States, she worked diligently in housekeeping at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida, for a decade.

In her later years, living in Las Vegas, Deling enjoyed engaging with her neighbors and took great pride in cooking traditional Filipino dishes, which were a source of joy and comfort to all who had the pleasure of tasting them.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU, Rehab, doctors, and nurses at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for their compassionate care during her final days. They also wish to express their appreciation to relatives and friends who kept Deling close in their hearts.

Deling will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she brought into the lives of those around her.

Deling was preceded in death by her husband, Romeo and son, Romeo ''Jungie'' Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Reynaldo Romero,
