Albert A. Coppola

Albert Coppola, 80, entered the kingdom of Heaven January 29, 2012. An only child, Albert was born April 3, 1931 in Chicago. Albert and his parents relocated to Newark, New Jersey when he was a young child.

Growing up in Newark, Albert entered the Marine Corps in 1948 and served two years in the Korean War where he saw heavy combat. He was honorably discharged in 1952. Returning home, he married his childhood sweetheart, Alice Muccione, who preceded him in death.

The family relocated to Las Vegas in 1973.

Albert and Alice have three children, Thomas Coppola 56, Michael Coppola 53, and Karen Nelsen 48.

Albert is survived by his three children two sistersinlaw, Marie Purcell and Jane Harmyk soninlaw, Martin Nelsen daughterinlaw, Joy Coppola three grandchildren, Kimberly Coppola, Joshua Nelsen, and Alyse Nelsen two greatgrandchildren, Anthony Statton and Harmony Martinez.
