Alberta Winterstein, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away March 14, 2010.
She was born Feb. 10, 1933, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and was
a 41year resident of Nevada.
Alberta graduated from Biloxi High School, and began her career
with F.W. Woolworth Company. She worked her way to become the
first female store manager of Woolco. At the time of the companys closure,
she was a manager for Woolco in Boulder, Colorado. She then managed Cloth World stores in Las Vegas until her retirement.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Lyndall and Phillip Winterstein brothers, Thomas and Philip Winterstein Jr. and nephew, Thomas Winterstein Jr.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Lynn Winterstein
nieces, Melissa Olsen, Sherry Bell and Jackie Loper
and several greatnieces and nephews
and she will also be greatly missed by her extended Las Vegas family..
