Aleeah Adamovich was born on April 22, 1998, in Henderson, Nevada. Throughout her young life, she had touched many souls with her gentle enthusiasm and peaceful spirit, seeking joy and humor in every situation.
As a teenager, she achieved numerous milestones, including four years at the Southwest Career Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the field of interior design. Her senior year had been one of eye-opening possibility, as she had developed a passionate appreciation for our country’s political processes, thanks to an inspiring teacher. This had led to valuable opportunities of volunteering for Senator Bernie Sanders’s first bid for the Democratic ticket in 2016, which had then directed her towards coursework in pre-law with the intent of eventually running for public office. Enrolled in the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, she had become fully committed towards academic work in political science, with her final objective of becoming an advocate for children of divorce through the eventual coursework of law school.
Her childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada, was accented by memorable seasonal vacations in northern Wisconsin and Trinidad-Tobago. Through these experiences with her beloved older brother Samuel and many wonderful relatives, she was able to play in the snow, on sandy beaches, and through blessed family activities, extending memories of joy to loved ones.
Aleeah was the type of person who would light up a room with her smile. Her gentle yet purpose-driven perspective had been her gift to family, friends, classmates, and co-workers. She never hesitated to make others smile or laugh, driven by a passion towards leaving this world as a better place. Her passing on May 21, 2019, has left a large hole in many hearts, and her loved ones ask that those who miss her would spread these connections to other relationships and experiences. She is survived by her mother Betty Ramcharan of Las Vegas,Nevada, father Robert Adamovich of Appleton, Wisconsin, brother Samuel Adamovich of Las Vegas, boyfriend Albert Hernandez of Las Vegas, maternal grandmother Sumintra Ramcharan of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, paternal grandparents Ron and Dorothy (Dee Dee) Adamovich of Eagle River, Wisconsin, and many beloved family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Manny Ramcharan and her uncle Mark Ramcharan.
