Alice Ann Maguire

Alice Ann Nadolney Maguire passed away in the morning of Aug. 22, 2010.

Alice was the daughter of Joseph and Ann F. Suess Nadolney. Alice was born August 2, 1946, in Appleton, Wisconsin, and grew up in Menasha, Wisconsin. She studied medical technology at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.

Alice met her husband to be, 2nd Lt. John P. Maguire, at a party of friends and they were married in the Truax Field Air Base Chapel, Madison. They moved to Las Vegas in June 1975 and Alice found work at the University Medical Center, where she flourished for 31 years retiring in 2006.

Unable to sit around and do nothing, Alice found parttime work with a local Michaels store which she enjoyed. Alice fought a battle with lung and brain cancer but succumbed to pneumonia.

She is survived by her husband, John son, Sean K. Pamela Dixon Maguire grandson, Conor Foy Maguire daughter, Megan E. Maguire three sisters, Doris Pete Kiefer, Paula Strong and Marla Norm Garden and three brothers, Daniel, Perry and Roch Nadolney.
