Andrew Jackson McFadden, Jr.

Andrew Jackson McFadden, Jr. , 79 years young, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed on September 8, 2021. Andrew was born on August 24th, 1942 in Hope, Arkansas to Andrew J and Leslie McFadden.

Andrew joined the Air Force in 1960 and proudly served his country for 22 years. During his service he was stationed in Greece, where he met his wife Betty McFadden and wed in 1967 and in Germany. He retired from the Air Force in 1982 as a Master Sargent. After retiring from the Air Force, Andrew moved to Las Vegas and worked as a civilian on Nellis AFB in air traffic control. Andrew has resided in Las Vegas for 25 years. Andrew’s love was God, country and family.

Andrew is preceded by his wife Betty McFadden, his mother Leslie, brothers James and Charles and sisters Lestine and Laura. Also by his companion Alice Brown.
Andrew is survived by his daughter Christina McFadden, his grandsons Andrew, Nicholas and Christopher, and great granddaughter Amelia. His nieces Leslie, Valerie, Denise, Alice and many other family members.

Funeral services will be held in Hope, Arkansas and he will be laid to rest next to his mother and brothers in Washington, Arkansas.
