Annamarie Xochitl Velasquez, of Henderson, passed away July 16, 2014, in a car accident in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 13, 1989, in Orange, Calif. She was raised in Green Valley Ranch, Henderson. She married her true love Oct. 26, 2013. She attended Coronado High School and Community College of Southern Nevada, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She loved the arts and loved to play the piano. Her favorite pianist was Ludovico Einaudi. Her favorite poet was Edgar Allen Poe. Her favorite movies were Pirates of the Caribbean and Nightmare Before Christmas. Had Mr. Ramos not swept her off her feet, seven years prior, she believed she would have married Johnny Depp or Michael Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Reynaldo Urias Ramos two daughters, Mia Yaretzi four and SofiaRae two parents, David Velasquez and Dr. Jo Velasquez siblings, Xoli Velasquez and Izel Parra grandparents, Roger and Isabel Neveaux birthmother, Maria Elena Parra and many loving extended family members. Rosary will be 58 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las veGAS Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.
