Antonio Monarrez Sr

Antonio Monarrez Sr, beloved father and husband, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 with his family by his side in Las Vegas, NV.

Antonio was born in Presidios, Durango, Mexico to Romula and Rafael Monarrez. In his youth, Antonio lived in Mexico and Chicago, Illinois. Antonio and Consuelo Monarrez were married for 37 years and they were blessed with 5 children - Rafael, Melissa, Karina, Antonio Jr, and Nicolas.

Antonio was an extremely hardworking man who put his family at the forefront of his life. He worked for Bally's Casino in Las Vegas, NV for 29 years until his retirement in 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Romula and Rafael Monarrez, his brothers, Manuel and Adan Monarrez, and his sister, Eva Corral.

He is survived by his spouse, Consuelo Monarrez, his son, Rafael Monarrez, his daughter, Melissa Pardo, his daughter, Karina Monarrez, his son, Antonio Monarrez Jr, and his son, Nicolas Monarrez, and their respective spouses. He is also survived by his brother, Martin Monarrez, and his sister, Luz Maria Monarrez.

Antonio will be deeply missed by his immediate and extended family and friends.
