April Goldson

April Goldson, 79 passed away peacefully on February 18 at her home in Henderson, Nevada, where she lived with her niece and guardian angel (Dan).

April was born in Chicago, IL to Abraham (Al) Goldson and Ruth (Levin) Goldson on April 18, 1941.

April grew up in Tucson, AZ and attended Amphitheater High School.  As a young woman, April ventured to Los Angeles where she worked as a medical assistant, dabbled in collectibles and antiques, and made many close, life-long friends.  April always dreamed of owning her own home.  So, she moved back to Tucson, bought her home, and continued to collect and sell antiques.  April also worked as a receptionist at an assisted living facility where she was a friend to many residents who loved her.  Due to Alzheimer’s, April had to sell her home and move to Nevada to be with her family.  She was well loved and will be greatly missed.

April is reunited in death with her beloved father, mother and older sister, Esther Lynn.

April is survived by her brothers Harvey Goldson (Ann Johnson), Harry Goldson (Piper), niece Elizabeth Pero, nephews Danny Cohen and Michael Cohen, great nephews Joseph  Pero, Adam Pero (Laura), Tyler Cohen, and her guardian angel Dan Pero.
