Arthur S. Macaraeg

Arthur S. Macaraeg, 58, a commercial real estate broker, of Henderson, passed away December 27, 2010.
He was born March 30, 1952, in Manila, Philippines, and was a 17year resident of Nevada.
Art was an accomplished musician and excellent chef. He was an active member of the Filipino community, helping homeless teens and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. Art served on the Board of St. Thomas More Parish Council, Republican Congressional Committee for Southern Nevada, and the Board of CDRB in Las Vegas. He was instrumental in developing many of the masterplanned communities that we enjoy in Las Vegas today.
Art is survived by his loving wife, of 23 years, Teresa Miller Macaraeg sons, Zachary and Henry daughters, Anastasia and Tara Noel grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan mother and her husband, Sylvia and Wili Nicholson brothers, Arsenio and Arnold sisters, Armenia, Arlene and Arsyl and numerous brother and sisterinlaws, aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
