Barbara Sue Chalker

Barbara Sue Bozeman Chalker, 57, of Las Vegas, passed away August 4, 2011. Born March 4, 1954, at Nellis Air Force Base, she was a native Nevadan and lifetime resident.

She graduated Valley High School, class of 1972. Sue worked at the Sands Hotel as a front desk clerk and for the local union trust funds. She loved all animals and rescued stray cats. Sue loved arts and crafts and was a true flower child. Sue loved 60s era music, including The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

Sue is survived by the three men she loved the most, her husband, Jim Chalker her son, Jason Jasper and her father, Roscoe Bozeman.

Visitation will be 49 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or Best Friends Animal Society.
