Barbara June Johnson

Barbara June Johnson, 84 entered Heaven's Gate on June 11th, 2016 in Bakersfield CA surrounded by her family. Barbara was born June 25th, 1931 in Detroit Michigan to Martha Ieppert and Troy Baker. She later moved to Illinois where she raised 8 beautiful daughters. Barbara later opened up a business in Carlyle Illinois that she ran for several years and then proceeded to move to Las Vegas, Nevada where she opened up another successful business. Barbara loved spending time with her family and playing keno. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Barbara is survived by her daughters: Deborah Kimbrell, Patricia Cruz, Marcia Jansen, Paula Pate, Laura Grapperhaus and Hope Pierce; 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and two daughters Sandra Shelton and Pamela Griffin.

Memorial Service and Urn placement will be held on Saturday, June 25th, 2016 at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas at 11:00 a.m.
