Benjamin Alan Welte was born in the old St. Rose Hospital in Henderson, NV, on March 30, 2001. He grew up in Las Vegas, NV. He attended school at Cartwright Elementary, Silvestri Junior High, and Silverado High School. Benjamin passed away on Nov. 13, 2017, at 11:11 pm at Las Vegas, NV.
Benjamin was a Theater Tech specializing in construction and set design. He also made some quick cameos on stage. His favorite show to work was ""The 39 Steps"" where he was crew chief with Jorge Ortiz. Benjamin was also an avid gamer on Xbox and PlayStation. His Avatar was ""Gamer Ben"". He attended the Streetfighter Gaming Competition on the strip in Las Vegas. Other interests included mountain climbing, attending movies, and concerts. Benjamin liked the Front Bottoms mosh pit. He enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, Lincoln, NE, and places in between.
Benjamin is survived by parents Jeff Welte and Helen Welte of Las Vegas, NV, sister Elizabeth Welte, Grandma Nancy Welte, Grandma Jean Welte, Grandparents Maxine and Glenn Strader. He was preceded in death by Grandfather Hal Welte and Uncle Mark Welte. Honorary pall bearers are: Gregory Strader, Garin Strader, Nathan Strader, Ryan Strader, Quinn Wagner, and everyone from Troupe #5489.
Ben has a special place in our hearts and some day we will meet again.
