Betty Neuman Caston

Betty Neuman Caston, 83 passed away Nov. 27, 2013, in Las Vegas, where she was born in 1930 to Roy and Mellie Neuman. She met and married Raiford Douglas Caston Jr. in Las Vegas, 1949. He was serving in the U.S. Air Force, and they traveled together for 25 years, including time at Nellis Air Force Base, before retiring in 1969 in Las Vegas. She worked for First National Bank Nevada in the armored car department, and for the Clark County School Districts food service program at Rose Warren Elementary School and Other schools until she retired. Betty was a strong, loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing, cake decorating and UNLV sports, and her grandchildrens activities as well as church and bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents stepfather, Charles Wilson her brothers, LeRoy and Ernest Babe Neuman her husband, Raiford Douglas and two daughters, Sharon and Helen. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hinton and Cheryl Nicholas her son, Douglas her sister, Anita Beachboard six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
