BETTY JEAN LEWIS

Her Life:
Betty Jean Lewis, 73, an avid music lover, social butterfly and beloved mother in Las Vegas, peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Betty moved to Las Vegas fro Louisiana in 1963. Upon graduation from Ranch High School in 1964, she began working at the Dunes Hotel and Casino. After several years she changed careers and became a bus driver for Clark County School District up to retirement. She me her husband Albert Lewis who she married in 1970.
Betty will always be remembered for her smile, laugh, and kindness towards others. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandmother. She had a spirited personality and always made people around her laugh.
Betty is survived by her older sister Dorothy Prince; daughter Juawana Smith-Tellis; stepchildren Stacy Lewis and Delon Lewis. Loving niece and nephews Sherlyn Renee Hoye, Allen Smith & Albert Hoye. Grandchildren Monet WIlliams, Maliyah Williams, and Erin Turner.
Betty was preceded in death by her father Peter Smith, mother Mary B. Allen, brother and sisters, Allen Smith & Ruby Phalo, and her son Anthony Smith.

Prayer for my Mother:
