Billie R. Snook, age 82, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on January 11, 2024. She was born on September 21, 1941, in Alabama.
Billie had a vibrant personality and was a bundle of energy. As a perfectionist, she took great care in everything she did, the best lawn in the neighborhood and the cleanest cars on the West Coast, which she meticulously detailed for hours on end. Billie was proud of owning her home in Palm Valley Estates and cherished her neighbors. She also had a deep love for animals and had the biggest heart for all creatures.
Billie is survived by her best friend and sister at heart, Beverly Emge of Henderson, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise, and her uncles Emmitt and Theodore Gray, as well as her aunt Evelyn Tyler.
During her amazing career, Billie traveled the world as a Flight Attendant for Northwest Orient Airlines. She was a staple on Northwest's 747 Fleet, exclusively serving First Class Passengers due to her exceptional attention to detail. It was during her time at Northwest Orient that she met her dearest friend, Beverly, and their bond of love and sisterhood will last for eternity.
Billie's hobbies included anything and everything outdoors. Earlier in life, while living in Seattle, she particularly embraced the ocean and sailing her boat amongst the sea life in the Puget Sound. Later, Billie enjoyed spending time at home on Inverness Drive, working on countless “Do It Yourself” projects. Billie had a gadget or tool for everything, and she was always there to help and share her talents with everyone.
