Carma H. Call, born Nov. 6, 1924, in Hurricane, Utah, passed away Jan. 20, 2013. Carma served a mission for the LDS church in 1946 dedicating 20 months in service to the Lord. She moved to Henderson in 1953 with her sweetheart, Hal, who she was married to for over 62 years. Their home was always open to family, friends and strangers, who didnt remain as such for long. As a devoted mother, she taught her family how to love and how to serve. She quietly went about serving, seeing the needs of others and helping them anyway she could. Sometimes that was as simple as listening and loving them.
Carma was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Hall father, Clinton Hall brother, McKay Hall sister, Barbara Blazzard and daughter, Terry Call.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Call sons, Clint Call and Rick Carol Call daughters, Carma Mauss, Jacque Marc Cram and Barbara Robert Woods. She was also survived by 21 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to thank Creekside Hospice for the love and care they gave our sweet momma.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the LDS Chapel, 303 S. Cholla St., Henderson. Viewing will be at 9 a.m.
