Carmela Sandra Curry

Carmela Sandra (Dolly) Curry, Age 85, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on February 1, 2024. Carmela was born in
Braddock, PA to John B. and Rose (Novara) Montalbano.

Carmela grew up in Braddock, PA and graduated from Scott High School. She then attended Jon Lesko Beauty School and Nurses Training. She was a longtime employee of the Holiday House in Monroeville, PA. She later worked at McKeesport Hospital as a Nurses Aide prior to moving to Las Vegas.

Carmela, wife of the late Lloyd E. Curry, Mother of Francine Poore (Jerry), Michelle Turner (Kenrick), John Gallo (Ariane). 

Step-Mother of Cynthia Curry, Juanita and the late Lloyd Edward Jr. Grandma of Kevin Leggett and Camryn Gallo. Step-Grandma of Clarissa, Jerry Jr, and Jaysen (Felina). Step-Great Grandma of Cayla, Symone, Jaysen Jr, and Justice. Carmela, sister of Carl John Montalbano (Aunt Josephine), the late Sandra Rose and the late (Ken) Zera, John B. and (June) Montalbano Jr. and Rose Anne and (Dennis) Needham. 

Dolly was predeceased by her former late husbands, Charles F. Wilson and John P. Gallo.  Many nieces and nephews from all her extended family, Kenny, Sean, Sandy, Sara, Denny, Angela, Dina, Anthony, and Johnny from her siblings and more. A darling and loving niece, Darlene and Tim (deceased) Lance, who were regular visitors to Las Vegas to visit the Currys.

Funeral services will be held on February 20, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV  89119.  2 p.m. Prayer Service and Burial to follow at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Reflection.
