Carol Ann Fisher

Carol Fisher was born February 10, 1947 to Reubin and Marion Brunsvold in Fargo, North Dakota. She graduated from Moorhead (MN) High School in 1965. While working at KTHI-TV 11 in Fargo she met her future husband Larry FIsher. They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1969. They were married at the LIttle Church of the West in Las Vegas on November 8, 1969.

In 1972 the couple moved to Kentucky to work for WBKO-TV in Bowling Green. Their daughter Sheryl Lynn was born in April of that year. Missing the desert southwest they decided to move back to Las Vegas in 1973 and went to work at KSHO-TV 13 there. They have made the Las Vegas valley their home ever since. Son Jon David was born in 1975.

Larry retired from TV in 1998 and went into commercial art, working on a commission basis. Carol retired after 30 years at Household Finance in February 2003. They spent a lot of their time traveling because of Larry's art work promotions, but for the leisure getaways the Hawaiian Islands were always their favorite.

Following retirement Carol donated quite a bit of her time to playing golf, auto trips all over the west and watching Little League Baseball. After their children grew too old for the baseball program and left Carol stayed with it. From team mom, to league president then up to Assistant district administrator for Nevada District 2 Little League Baseball. She stayed with District 2 for over 30 years, she really enjoyed her ""Second Family"".

Carol is survived by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Larry, daughter Sheryl Wilczynski, son-in-law Arthur and grandson Preston. Son Joh, wife Mika and Tommy and Lola.

Services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019at Davis Funeral Home located at 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas NV 89119 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Long officiating.
