Carol R. Yanus

Carol R. Yanus, 79, of Henderson NV, peacefully passed away on February 19. 2018, in the presence of her family, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born June 1, 1938 in Rochester, New York. Carol was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company. Much of her life was shared with her husband, John. Carol was preceded in death by her son, Mark. She is survived by her son, Michael; daughters, Maria Georger and Marlene (David) Clement; along with several grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 2300 Sunridge Heights, Henderson, NV 89052. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association of Southern Nevada.
