Carolyn Lois LeBaron, born on March 31, 1949 in American Fork, Utah died on October 28, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 69.
Carolyn is survived by her father, Dale Huntsman; her sister, Connie (Milo) Medley; her brother Lynn (Beverly) Huntsman; her five children and their spouses: Anthony and Tina LeBaron, Christina and Drew Leavitt, Danyelle and Tommy Reed, Diane and Marc Leavitt, Patricia and Jeremy Ross; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerry LeBaron; mother, Karma Huntsman; and brother, Dan Huntsman.
Carolyn was born on March 31, 1949 in American Fork, Utah to Dale and Karma Huntsman. As a teenager, she moved with her family to Las Vegas where she attended Rancho High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1967. She married Kerry LeBaron, her high school sweetheart, in 1968. The couple welcomed 5 children into their home. She worked as a cashier for Vegas Village, a secretary for her father's construction company and later retired as a high school banker for the Clark County School District.
Her children remember her as a kind and generous mother and a doting grandmother. Carolyn loved her grandchildren and attended countless athletic events and concerts. In addition, she enjoyed time in the outdoors camping and hunting with her family.
Carolyn is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Her favorites were North Las Vegas Stake Librarian and temple organist in the Las Vegas, Nevada LDS Temple.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00am with a viewing on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:30pm and Monday prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 9:45am. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 6051 Dorrell Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Arrangements are being provided by Davis Funeral Homes at 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
