Charles Karl Munzlinger

Charles Karl died on August 11, 2011 at the age of 97 12.
Karl was born in Berlin, Germany on December 12, 1913 to Eula and Wilheim Munzlinger.

At age 9 his family left Germany because of the bad depression. The family went to Argentina where they lived for two years before coming to America.

Karl settled in New York City where he met his wife, Irene. They were married for 61 years before her death in September, 1996. His parents, a brother and sister, and sons Robert and Fredrick David Munzlinger precede him in death. Sons Karl Peter, and Walter Herman Munzlinger, 11 grandchildren, and many greatgrandchildren survive him. Both sons visited him in June and enjoyed visiting with him for a few weeks
Karl worked for American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He retired after 30 years. After retiring, Karl and Irene moved to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed playing the horses, and German polka music.

His family and many friends will miss him. He lived in the Boulder Palms Senior Apartments.
