Charles Lacy Robinson was born February 6, 1932 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Pratt Jr. and Martha Robinson.
He accepted Christ at a young age, at St. John Baptist Church.
He attended Central High.
Charles served in the United States Army for 1 year, 11 months, and 17 days, and received the Ambassador of Peace Medal, alone with his Honorable Discharge in 1953.
He was employed with the Los Angeles Parks and Recreation until he retired in 1985.
He leaves to cherish his memories two special women, Mattie Lavender who raised him, and Geneva Robinson, whom he married on January 1, 1956 and together they had five children, Betty Robinson, Charles Lacy Robinson Jr., Maxine Robinson, Nathaniel Robinson, and Robert Robinson twenty Grandchildren twenty six Great Grandchildren and a Host of relatives and Friends.
