Charles D. Stanton

September 26, 1953 — January 19, 2020

Charles D. Stanton, 66, of Henderson, NV, passed away on January 19, 2020.  He was born in Webster City, Iowa to Gene and Lorraine Stanton on September 26, 1953.   

Chuck grew up Edgewood, IA, graduated from Edgewood-Colesburg high school and went directly into the Marine Corps., where he served three years.  For the last year of service, he was honored to be stationed at Camp David.  After his service, he earned his Associates Degree and became a licensed electrician.  He worked on the navy ships in Pearl Harbor and recently retired after 20 years with the Clark County School District.  Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and cared for the environment.  He actively supported the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his children, Bradley Stanton and Keani Stanton, his sisters: Becky (Mark) Stevens, Lorry (Kayt) Stanton, Sandra (Duke) Wegmann, and former wife Debbie Stanton. He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Lorraine Stanton.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 10:30 am, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
