Charles E. White III, 55 of Las Vegas, formerly Blue Island,IL. passed from his life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at home in his sleep. Chuck is the treasured husband of Cindy White. Cherished son of Jo Ann White, and the late Charles E. White Jr. Loving brother of Anne Marie (late Doug) Dowen, the late Susan T. White, Judith (Dan) Voltolina and Kathleen (Pat) Moore. The adored uncle of Carly (Brett) and Maggie Dowen, Walter Yost, the late Daniel Mischke, Matthew Mischke (Thalia), Brittni (Ryan) Myrda, Haley Moore, Jason (Megan) Davis, Jennifer Davis, Ryan Goodman, Nicole Goodman.

Chuck was an avid Chicago sports fan. He loved the White Sox, Bears, but especially, the Blackhawks. His "man cave" was filled with Blackhawks memorabilia. Chuck spent many of his weekends watching sports including Nascar with his friends. Chuck enjoyed traveling in his RV with Cindy to Salida, Colorado to visit his best friend. He also enjoyed visiting all the National Parks. He loved riding Razors and spending time in the mountains at his cabin in Brian Head, Utah. He enjoyed watching Adam 12, old western shows, and movies each evening while eating dinner. He could always pick up with childhood friends and reminisce about school days with all the fun they had. Chuck always loved having dogs. He spent hours playing with them and going on walks. Now Henry and Cleo, his latest dogs, are missing him terribly. Chuck loved when people came to visit him in Las Vegas or at his cabin in Utah. He liked to meet for lunch or take visitors to all the hottest attractions. He enjoyed buying lots of chotchkies for his nieces and nephews. He loved his great nieces and nephews too. Chuck loved his family and friends unconditionally and there is not one thing he would not do for them. Chuck was a man of many talents and was mechanically savvy and could fix almost anything. Even things that were mysterious to most people, Chuck was blessed with a great knack for figuring out how to fix them. Chuck was a giver in this way, and was always willing to help others repair things or at a minimum offer suggestions on how to solve a problem. Chuck had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and was extremely quick witted. He will be missed by all who knew him.
