Clara Jean Mullen

Clara Jean passed away peacefully on February 24, 2012 at age of 77 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a resident of Chula Vista, California. Jean was born in Amoret, Missouri on January 25, 1935 and grew up in Lincoln, California.

Jean was a beautiful, gentle mother to two sons and one daughter, and grandmother to three lovely granddaughters. She was a proud Navy wife for over 50 years. She loved reading, traveling, shopping, and family gatherings. She is survived by husband, George Mullen, son, George Jr Skip, son, Michael, and daughter, Diane Davis, sister, Betty Staley, Aunt Gloria Coffin, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Staley and father, Vaughn Trenton Coffin, sister, Patricia Scott and husband Ronald, and daughter Pamela Coward.

Funeral will be Friday, March 2, 1 pm, at St. Viator Catholic Church, Las Vegas. Interment will be in Lincoln, California.

Donations in her name can be sent to either the American Cancer Society or the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
