Claude Marsh

Claude Marsh, aka ""Uncle Brother"" age 89 of Las Vegas, passed in peace Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Claude was born on March 18, 1927 in Newton, Mississippi, the only son
of Dennis & Jerlene Marsh. He confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Lue of Bartholomew Baptist Church in Newton, Mississippi.
Preceding in death his sisters Elouise Gilkey, Louise Cooper, Lilly Moncrief-Davidson. After graduating High School, Claude joined the U.S. Army from 1946-1949 and received an honorable
discharge. Claude worked as custodian for 34 years at Sears, LA Unified School District, and retired from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Claude was married to Bertha Robinson. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his son Alden Marsh of Long Beach, CA, daughter Adrienne Marsh of St. Louis, MO, daughter-in-law
Linda, two grandchildren Shaun A. Marsh & Adriana M. Grimes, grandson-in-law Jason Grimes, great-grandsons Lorenzo E. Marsh & Elijah C. Grimes. A host of loving nieces & nephews,
many relatives, two godsons, two special friends Mrs. Reed & Mrs. Smith, friends & co-workers.

Claude will always be remembered for his kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.
