Clifford Jessie Breeding, of Las Vegas, passed away May 22, 2014, from COPD, with his wife, Hazel, by his side. He was born March 20, 1933, to Wiley Frank and Arminda Elizabeth Breeding in Tennessee, and was raised in Detroit, as his father worked in an auto factory, from where he retired. Clifford had four brothers, William, Buford, Grover and Delbert. Clifford proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He learned the plumbing business and worked for Metropolitan Plumbing in Las Vegas laying pipelines for many businesses in Las Vegas. He was a member of the American Legion L.D. Lockhart Post 14 for 25 years. Clifford was a musician and vocalist. He had his own band, Country Express for 17 years in Michigan. In Las Vegas, with his great voice, he continued to sing at jam sessions with Twice as Nice Dan Bell and Janie Stark once a week. Clifford met Hazel Lockhart in 1989, they became soulmates and married June 30, 2000. They travelled all seven continents extensively. Clifford is survived by his wife, Hazel stepchildren, Andre Damrill, Charlette Hallman and Randall Forbes and his brother, Buford. Viewing will be noon1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, with services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services following at Davis Memorial Park. Refreshments will be served after the service.
