Clinton Grandberry, 83, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away March 13, 2016. Services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10 am at Davis Funeral Home's Chapel located at 6200 S. Eastern Avenue. Burial will be 12:00 pm at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery located in Boulder City, Nevada.
Clinton was born August 26, 1932, in Fairfield, Texas. He married Hattie Cooper December 11, 1966 in Pomona, California. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, and then worked as a waiter in many different hotels. He enjoyed playing basketball, traveling, and was a history buff. He was also involved with the United Methodist Church for a number of years.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Hattie Grandberry; son, William (Amanda) Grandberry; daughter, Frances (John) Paulson; foster-son, Johnnie Fountain; sister-in-law, El' Joan Smith; grandchildren, John (Rebecca) Paulson IV, Elizabeth Erin (David) Ruiz, Dorothy Anne Rice Grandberry, Bethany Dee Grandberry, Clinton Thomas Grandberry, and foster-grand-daughter, Rachael Fountain; great-grandchildren, D.J. Ruiz and Mahalia Paulson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lula Bell Grandberry; brothers, Henry and Grady Grandberry; and sister, Vera Moore.
Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Homes and Memorial Park.
