Colleen Ann Myler, 74, of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 10, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV.
Colleen was born in Madison, Wisconsin to Herbert Gerard Faber and Virginia Colleen Moore on March 27, 1945, at the time her father was a POW. She is the eldest of seven children.
Colleen attended school for business, acquired her Associates degree and join Eastern Airlines as flight attendant in Chicago in the 1960’s. During this time she met the love of her life, Richard and on November 22, 1969 they were married. Their son Cory Christopher was born in Chicago and their life of travel & transfers began New York, Charlotte, Pittsburgh finally settling in Las Vegas in 1980.
After 25 years in the Las Vegas Hotel Hospitality Industry she retired from the Stardust Hotel to pursue her avid crafts custom jewelry designer/maker her email tag (beadwizzard) told her story. She was a powerful cook, an entertainer, a pet lover, and an adoption advocate. Bella, Charlie, Little Bit, and Dudley miss her.
She cherished her grandchildren; Bo and Keough & her daughter-in-law Riyoko Tanaka.
Colleen was direct, sensitive, and always loved a challenge.
Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, sister Vicki Choidour & survived by brothers Kurt Faber, Brett Faber sisters Kim Adams, Jodie Gaklik, Amy Beard, Kim Adams, Jodi Gaklik her husband Richard, her son Cory & grandchildren: Bo and Keough.
