Connie Molina Harrison, of Pahrump, Nevada passed away on Friday, January 4th, 2019 in a local hospital here in Las Vegas.
Connie's parents immigrated to Southern Nevada from Mexico in the 1920's. Her father worked on the Union Pacific Railroad and the family lived in one of the ""section houses"". Her father built a home on 2nd Street which is now known as Casino Center. Her niece Maria is now the proud owner of the home. The heritage remains in the family. Connie was born at the home on November 1, 1942. A proud Las Vegas native, Connie loved to share her experiences about life in early Las Vegas. Connie attended the 5th Street School and received her diploma from Las Vegas High School as a member of the class of 1960. Connie worked for the Culinary Union as an Insurance Processor for several years before her Rheumatoid Arthritis took control.
Connie is survived by her devoted husband Robert (Bob) of 54 years; her two sisters and brothers in laws; Dolores Molina Azbell & Frank Azbell; and Mary Molina Konold & Teddy Konold; as well as her many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Connie is preceded in death by her father Guadalupe, mother Dolores, and her three brothers, Lupe, Jesus and Tony Molina.
Connie had a heart of gold to those who knew and loved her. She has not left us, she has graced us.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, January 11, 2019 with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 South Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Funeral Service will be at 11:15 AM Saturday January 12th at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 North Bruce Street North Las Vegas, NV 89030.
