Daisy was born September 1, 1942, in Queens Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii. Daisy went to be with the Lord early morning December 19, 2014 at Solari Hospice Care, Las Vegas, NV, at age 72. She was surrounded and comforted by family.
Daisy mother, Miyuki Sato (Dorna) and father David Kikiloi loved her dearly. Daisy is survived by husband Ronald Hemphill Sr. and 4 children Leilani Houston, Carlette Houston, Michelle Jacksper, Ronald Hemphill Jr., 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also, survived by 3 brothers, David Kikiloi, Robert Stokes and Steven Miles. Daisy is preceded to death by daughter Ronda Hemphill, brother Richard Bailey, granddaughter Shuntel Wallace, father David Kikiloi, granddaughter Kiara Pinkett, brother Willie Bailey, mother Miyuki Sato (Dorna), and granddaughter Sheri James.
Daisy was a Christian and Matriarch of the family, She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were her life and priority, and it was important to her that she provided their needs. She was an example of strength and a great role model to her family. Daisy had a beautiful personality upon meeting her you would instantly love her.
Daisy had a passion for traveling she took trips often to Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia, DC, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Daisy enjoyed life, and believe you should experience all it has to offer.
Daisy was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii up until she was 18 yrs. old. She then graduated High School in Honolulu, and moved to California. Daisy lived most of her adult life in California, but her heart was always home in Hawaii, "" The Big Island"", as she called it, gently smiling. Recently, Daisy moved to Virginia for 6 months until she decided to settle in Las Vegas, NV, a year ago.
Daisy a hard worker, retired 28 years from Kmart then trained as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Daisy was a Certified Nurse Assistant for 11 years at Victoria Care Center, Ventura, CA. She loved helping people. Daisy attended Oxnard Community College, in Oxnard CA for 2 years, pursuing her nursing career.
Daisy loved and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was loved by all who knew her. Her family and friends will forever cherish her memories. She will truly be missed. We love you Daisy our, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, we love you.
