Daron Bates, son of Lawrence and Ethel was born May 1969 in West Helena, Arkansas. He graduated from High School in 1988. He also served his county as a SEABEE in the United States Navy. Daron was currently working at Swissport Fueling at McCarran airport for 20 years and he was a Tank Farm Fuel Specialist for the past few years.
He married Emelda in March of 1999. They have three children: Michael, Jerica and Daron Jr. He was a loving and devoted father who worked hard to take care of his family.
No other rivaled Daron’s love for sports, comics and movies. He was also a die-hard Raiders fan –“silver and black all day, just win baby”. He enjoyed cooking and grilling while entertaining his family and friends. He was loved by all that meet him and was the life of the party.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his sisters Lisa, Elizabeth (Lala) and cousin Lee Banks (Duck), nieces – LaShundra, Leslie, D’Cambrian, Symeria and Ebony, nephews – Christian and Brandon, cousins and his inner circle of friends.
