Darryl Baker

Darryl Benard Baker was born on July 08th 1962 to Agnes Blaylock Baker Jackson and Jess
Edward Baker Jr. Darryl was the oldest of five children. Darryl passed away from this earthly life
on August 19th, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. He accepted Christ as his savior at a early age. Darryl
graduated from Gulfport High School in 1981 and then attended Jefferson Davis College and
the University of Southern Mississippi. He enlisted in the United States Air Force doing 2 1/2
years active duty and 22 years Air Force Reserve. Darryl's love of Air Planes landed him a job at
North West airlines in Minneapolis, he then changed jobs to Southwest airlines where he was still
employed with 23 years on the job. Darryl also had a love for photography, traveling, cooking and
fishing.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents: Agnes Blaylock Baker Jackson and Jess Edward
Baker Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Huma Baker in England, UK, three sisters,
Karen Baker-Sonier(Mark), Carmen Baker, Kristian Baker Mulligan (Greg ) One brother Edward
Baker and one nephew Jalon L. Baker. His very best friends , his Southwest Airlines Family, his
Military Comrades and a host of other family members and many friends.
Darryl will be deeply and truly missed.
