David Alfaro 58 of Las Vegas beloved Husband, Son, Father, and Grandfather was taken home to Jesus on June 28, 2020.
He entered this world on April 29, 1962. in Mexico City, Mexico to his parents Irma and Albert Alfaro.
He is survived by his wife Michele (Shelly), his daughters Jenelle and Chelsea, his mother Irma and brothers Albert and Jeffery and his 5 grandchildren and 3 bonus grandchildren he gained the night before his passing.
David graduated from Walnut High School in Walnut, California in 1981, and He earned a Diploma from the Airco Computer Learning Center on May 24, 1985. He spent the next 10 years in Southern California scuba diving, off-roading, flying remote control airplanes, and honing his skills as both a truck driver and mechanic. After the birth of his daughter Chelsea in 1994, he had an encounter with his Savior Jesus Christ that changed the trajectory of his life forever. He spent the next 4 years commuting from Rancho Cucamonga to Las Vegas so that he could simultaneously raise his daughter and lay the foundation for his business Alfaro Trucking.
David married Shelly on June 19, 1998, and together they moved with their daughters Chelsea and Jenelle to Las Vegas, Nevada. For the next 22 years, David spent his time running what became Alfaro Ltd which was trucking and metal fabrication. He spent time volunteering in his church, he loved camping, fishing, shooting, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family. David always found time and a way to use his skills to serve many, people especially the people he loved.
David was a big man with a bigger personality. He knew how to make people laugh and was a protective father and a committed husband. He was brave and adventurous, smart, and never gave up on learning. In his final years, Dave spent most of his energy investing in the lives of his grandkids and teaching his skill to anyone who was willing to learn. He was a helper and a servant, the embodiment of generosity. His hardworking hands and giant goofy heart will be sorely missed.
The stories of his adventures and the security of his love will continue to serve as a comfort to those who grieve his loss.
