David James Jensen

David James “DJ” Jensen born in Women’s Hospital on June 27th 1980. A 3rd generation Las Vegas Native, passed away on 8/18/2021.
DJ worked for 20+ years in the casino industry. Began his career valet parking at The Orleans, became a dealer and moved to Cesars Palace, and recently a dealer and floor supervisor at The South Point. 
DJ was a lifelong fan of UNLV Rebels and The Raiders. He loved going to VGK games.
His greatest accomplishment was the birth of his son Devin James. They were best friends, and shared in the excitement of holidays, Star Wars and anything Disneyland related. 
DJ’s love for his nieces and nephews was that of an actual parent. He loved taking them to movies, parks, and sporting events. 
DJ loved any and every time his family were all together for holidays. 
DJ is survived by his son Devin James, parents Randie and David, his siblings Summer and Ronnie Thacker,  and Amber and Greg Burns. Many loving aunts, uncles, so many cousins, 4 nieces and nephews, and a great niece and nephew.
