David Michael Johnson

David Michael Johnson 6/7/65 – 5/20/20

David Michael Johnson passed away May 20, 2020, in Henderson, Nevada.  David was born in Salinas, Ca. on June 7, 1965.  When he was 1 ½ he moved to Eagle Rock in the Los Angeles area with his mother Theresa Sandburg.  At the age of 15, he moved to San Jose, Ca. and graduated from Yerba Buena High School. Within a few years after graduating he relocated to Seattle, Wa. where he was introduced to the Seattle Seahawks.  David was an avid fan of Nascar (Kevin Harvick) and the Seattle Seahawks. His hobby, which he shared with his son, was collecting Nascar models.  For many years he worked for Uni-Lever as a lead in the Ice Cream plant.  David was a humble simple man; he loved his road trips, the ocean, and the beautiful outdoors. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Amelia and Melvin Courtney; mother, Theresa Sandburg; father, Michael Johnson; brother, Glenn Johnson and nephew, Sean Correa.  His children were the light of his life; he is survived by a daughter, Cassie Lynn Terflinger-Johnson and son, Collin Johnson.  He’s also survived by mother, Marilyn Johnson; sister, Elizabeth Correa (Tony); and fiancé, Monica Parker.

Memorial Service at Davis Funeral Home will be held at a later date.
