David Clinton McArthur Sr., 95, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Las Vegas, Monday, Aug. 23, 2010.
He served in the U.S. ArmyAir Force in World War II as a decorated tailgunner for China, Burma, India run.
David was born in Menohmen, Minn., and he and his wife moved to Las Vegas to retire. While there, he worked for many years for UNLV and was employed until his death.
David was preceded in death, by wife, Lorraine son, Barry and daughter, Roxanne.
He is survived by sons, Douglas, Lauren and Daryl 14 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. David, aka Mickey, will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that have known him. He will be sorely missed by all.
Services for David will be at noon Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Davis Funeral Home Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Honor Guard presentation will follow at 1 p.m., at graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in remembrance of David, Lorriane and Barry McArthur.
