Deborah Kay Geske-Vann

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Deborah “Debbie” Kay Geske-Vann, 71, of Henderson, NV. Debbie passed away unexpectedly December 2, 2024 in Henderson, NV.

Debbie was born in Martinsville, IN on January 5, 1953 where she graduated from Martinsville High School in 1971. She welcomed her only daughter, Julie, November 19, 1974. Debbie had a background in the medical field. She enjoyed her career and most recently worked at Maximum Reimbursement as a Medical Biller until her passing. She married Robert Vann, Jr., January 6, 2024. When she wasn’t at work she enjoyed crocheting, doing Angel Card readings for her friends and loved ones, or playing different games on her laptop.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, August and Alice Geske, and her husband, Robert Vann, Jr.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Julie Lund and husband, David, of Amarillo, TX; her grandchildren, Nathan Lund of Des Moines, IA, Kayla Estes and husband, Ryan, of Amarillo, Aisha Lund of the United States Navy, Loren Nigh of Amarillo, and Shannon Gissinger of Las Vegas, NV; and her most favorite person, her great-grandson, JD Nigh of Amarillo; and many others that called her “Mom”, “Grammy”, and friend.

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held in Amarillo, TX on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
