Deborah Melendez, 71, of El Salvador, passed away on October 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Deborah was one of six children born at home in El Salvador to Eloísa Ayala de Rivera and Miguel Ayala on October 13th, 1952. However, she did not receive a birth certificate until the 18th of October, therefore she had two birthday celebrations every year.
Debbie was a hard-working woman, graduating from school in El Salvador, she sought out a better life in the United States in 1975. Being the first to graduate in her family, she traveled to Los Angeles, California to attend school for Licensed Vocational Nursing. From there, she worked at many medical facilities from hospice to clinics to hospitals. During her early adulthood, she had four children-Marizela Melendez, Freddie J Melendez, William D Melendez, and Maritza Melendez.
She enjoyed traveling, and outings with friends and family. She was also well known for her perseverance and strong work ethics.
On November 3rd, 2003, Deborah made the brave move to open a medical facility, Rapid Care Medical Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. Debbie then purchased a home here in Las Vegas but would travel to California every weekend to visit loved ones. Her priorities were always family and work. She was very ambitious, she had a dream and achieved it. A diligent and determined woman who held a kind heart will dearly be missed. Please join us in remembrance of Deborah Melendez.
