DELORES ANN KLIMA

Delores (Dee Dee) Ann Klima died peacefully in her home on February 9, 2019, in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 72.
Dee Dee is survived by her sister Faye Klima, her son, Richard Turner, his fiancé Heather Jeffers, and her granddaughter Amaya Ann Turner. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Karen, Ray, and Anthony Klima. In addition, her beloved dog Penny.
Dee Dee was born in Taylor, TX, on August 5, 1946. She was raised in Corpus Christi, TX. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Kilgore College, in Kilgore, TX. She went on to achieve a certificate in design from the Sheffield School of Interior Design in 1993. Her love and skill for design and decorating was evident in her beautiful home.
After moving to Las Vegas, NV, she worked at the Golden Nugget as a Cocktail Server from 1973 - 2019. She gained a great reputation with the prominent Las Vegas family and owner of the Golden Nugget. On the date of her passing, she was the longest tenured employee. Her service to the company and her guests was legendary. Dee Dee was dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for all of her tourist guests and regulars.
Dee Dee loved God, family, and a good joke. She could tell a story better than anyone.
All are welcome to attend a celebration of life service to honor Dee Dee scheduled for February 23, 2019, at 11am at Davis Funeral Home located at 6200 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the same address.
