Deloris Katie Gibbons

Deloris K Gibbons (89) passed away peacefully on January 30, 2020, in Henderson, Nevada. She was born-in Balta, North Dakota on October 5, 1930.

Deloris retired from Western Electric in 1976 and moved to Las Vegas, NV where she became a casino cashier until 1990. She moved back to North Dakota in 1991 until April of 1998 when she moved to Laughlin, NV.

Deloris was a loving caring mother to her three children, and the most amazing grandmother anyone could ever ask for. She was an avid animal lover with a soft spot for cats. She was strong, independent, graceful, and elegant. She had a smile that could brighten even the darkest room. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by so many friends and family.

Deloris is preceded in death by her husband Edgar R. Gibbons, Her mother and father Barbara and Matt Zacher. Her brothers Harold and Robert, and also her niece's nephews and cousins.

Deloris is survived by her children Patrick, Maureen, Colleen. Her sisters Isabelle, Diane, Beatrice, and Brother Larry. Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise Hospital, Horizon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Infinity Hospice Care for taking care of our beloved mother and grandmother. In her words- "Everyone is so nice and they take good care of me. Thank you."
