Denise Newman

Denise Newman, 52, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away June 29, 2010.

She was born April 2, 1958, grew up in England and cherished her English heritage. She moved to Las Vegas in the 1980s and worked in the casino industry before settling in as a fulltime mom.

Denise was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, reading, visiting the ocean and a good glass of wine. She was a fantastic cook who specialized in traditional English faire.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Giddings. She is survived by her loving husband, Craig Newman seven beautiful daughters, Natasha, Kate, Sarah, Wendy, Jennifer, Amanda and Samantha mother, Michele brother, Chris sister, Cora grandchildren, Jordan, Mitchell, Andrew and Emma and two canine companions, Charlie and Hamish.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 5, at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
