Diane Lea Kim was born December 3, 1950, in Las Vegas, and was a lifelong resident of Nevada. Diane worked for Michael Gaughan for 30 years from cocktails, to dealing, to the pit and surveillance.
When Diane was young, she rode dirt bikes, a Harley and could ride with the best of them. She was very athletic.
Diane might say one big accomplishment was hitting the one shot pot for 5,000 at the Las Vegas Gun Club. She was a skeet and trap shooter. Diane got her first gun at age seven, a 22 rifle with a scope.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Frank Kim, a 31year veteran of Metro.
Diane is survived by her mother, Charlotte Kim and loving daughter, Alana Lea Kim, both of Las Vegas.
