Domingo Balbalosa Retuyan, 85, previously of Barrigada, Guam, entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 26, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his loving family in Las Vegas, NV. He was born August 4, 1927, in Caranglaan, Pangasinan, Philippines, to the late Cornelio and Juana B. Retuyan.
Domingo was a retired federal employee, working as an electrician for 25 years with Naval Public Works on Guam. In 2005, he relocated from Guam to Las Vegas from there he went to live in Anchorage, Alaska for a year before permanently moving back to Las Vegas in 2007. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, cooking, handyman work, and playing bingo. He was a most loving husband, father and grandfather whose greatest passion was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresita Retuyan siblings, Martina R. Sison and Crisostomo B. Retuyan of the Philippines children, Roger and Julieta Retuyan of Las Vegas, NV Gil and Gloria Oralio of Dededo, Guam Joey and Salome Retuyan of Dededo, Guam Glenard and Clarissa Retuyan of Mongmong, Guam David and Lynn RetuyanMoore of Fort Mill, SC 24 grandchildren and 42 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Adelina B., Juan B., and Ceferino B. Retuyan.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Davis Funeral Home 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89119. Final resting place will be on Guam at the Guam Memorial Park, arrangements made through Island Funeral Home, date to be determined.
