Donald Allen Botts

Don was born in Euclid, Ohio to Beverly Botts (née Bluhm) and Thomas Botts, on June 16th, 1954.  He moved to California in his early 20's and became a lifeguard for the city of Long Beach, and then went on to become a Safety Inspector for Stockmar Corp. and later for Arco.

Don is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Botts, father, Thomas Botts, and sister Bonnie Hylkema.

Don is survived by his wife, Yvonne Shoup, daughter, Ashley Botts, brother, Garrison Botts, and sisters, Carol Botts and Cheryl Parsons.
Don was also a proud uncle to Kenny Laskan, Thomas Laskan, Aimee Nakao, Laura Parsons, John Parsons, Brian Hylkema, and Robert Hylkema.

Besides spending time with his family and friends, Don loved sunshine, animals, sports, traveling, exercising, and eating. Don will always be remembered for his free and joyful spirit, love of family, generosity, kindness, and all of his funny jokes; his smile will be greatly missed.
