Donald F. Kopina
It is with great sadness that the family of Donald F. Kopina, of Las Vegas, NV (formerly Wickliffe, OH), announces his sudden passing on Friday February 9th at the age 71. He was born in Cleveland, OH on April 15, 1946 to the late Ludwig & Marie Plasha. He was a Vietnam Vet, who loved his country and family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling with his wife. He was a member of the Browns Backers of Las Vegas. On Sundays you could find him at the Kopper Keg cheering for the Browns or more likely screaming at the TV for them to get their act together. He was also a proud and loving husband and father to ""his girls"" who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Don is survived by: Wife & Best Friend of 38 years Patty Kopina, Daughters Tracy Kopina, Kelly Cook (husband Aaron), Sister Maryanne Heiser (husband Dave), Brother-n-laws Bill Garry (wife Linda), Jim Garry, Sister-n-laws Marie Elena Novak, Donna Kopina along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: Mother & Father-n-law Lee & Elsie Garry, Brothers Jim Novak (wife Marge), Bobby Novak, and Al Kopina
Visitation will be on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 2-6pm at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
In lieu of flowers if friends or family should desire memorial contributions may be sent to Don's family at 10114 Basalt Hollow Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89148.
