Doris Jean Bumgardner, 94, was called to Heaven on March 4, 2024. Better known as “MaMa” to all those that loved her, she is now our guardian angel watching over us.
Doris Jean was born in Cramerton, NC on Jan. 13, 1930 to Robert Fred Waters and Annie Lee Simpson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clauston Earl Bumgardner and siblings, Robert, William, Rowena and Elaine.
Doris is survived by her son, Randy Bumgardner; daughter-in-law Linda Bumgardner; grandchildren Eric Bumgardner, Ryan Bumgardner and Lisa Shortridge; great-grandchildren Hailey, Kade, Mya and Wyatt.
Visitation will be at 1:00pm on March 17, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
6200 South Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on March 17, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow.
The family of Doris Jean wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her dear friends, Sam and DeeDee Buchanan, who helped care for MaMa during her final weeks.
