Doris H. Grant died at 77 years old on July 26th, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nv

Doris was born in Wilson NC on July 13, 1943, to John Artis and Mable Hall

She attended Speight High school and Elizabeth City State teacher college. She was a school bus driver during her college studies.

She was a devoted member of the Evangelistic church of Christ in Astoria Queens, New York & Apostolic Church of Las Vegas, Nevada.

She worked at New York life insurance company for 22yrs.

Her favorite hobbies were Knitting new hats and going to church.

Doris is preceded in death by Aron G grant Sr in 1995.

Son Darryl Bell of Blackshear, GA

Son Aron Grant of Las Vegas, NV

Brother John Artis of Philadelphia, PA

Brother Timothy Artis of Philadelphia, PA

Sister Barbara Blount of Goldsboro, NC

Sister Mary Moore of Goldsboro, NC

Seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Davis funeral home

6200 S. Eastern Las Vegas, Nv 89119

 9am viewing on august 5th 2020

10 am eulogy.

Pastor Stoltzfus will be officiating

Burial will follow at 11am @Davis Funeral home 6200 S eastern Las Vegas NV 89119
