Doris Alberta Koehler

Doris Alberta Schneider Koehler, 87, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at home July 20, 2010.

She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and was a 33year resident of Nevada.

She graduated from the School of Domestic Science in Boston with a degree in dietetics. She spent many years as a Girl Scout leader while rearing her children. Doris married Edward Koehler in May 1943 and they recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister.

Doris is survived by her husband daughters, Loretta OBrien and Joanna Ronald Ebner son, Paul Davina Koehler grandsons, Glen Shanti, Brian Lisa, John Stephanie and Gary Koehler granddaughter, Tiffany Koehler greatgrandchildren, Heidi, Alek, Tabitha and Faith Koehler and stepgreatgrandchildren, Beth Ann Preston and Mark Janella Preston, and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society .
